Hubbard Dianetics Foundation Engages in Global Outreach to Promote Mental Health and Well Being

Dianetics

Austin, Texas—March 11, 2026—Millions around the world started 2026 with resolutions for positive change. Studies show the most common relate to fitness, finance, health and mental well-being -- and that we aren’t always able to stick to those resolutions as the year rolls on. With so many people struggling to maintain their resolve, volunteers from Hubbard Dianetics Foundations around the world want you to know that those setbacks don’t need to define your 2026 goals.

In late February and early March, Dianetics volunteers in over 250 cities in more than 50 countries united to reach out and bring a proven, lasting mental health solution to their communities. They are answering the pervasive global demand of people wanting to get proactive about mental health and well-being.

Joining the international effort, volunteers in Austin were out in their iconic red Dianetics gear from West Campus to West 6th Street, Downtown to Soco, providing free “stress tests” and offering the book Dianetics: the Modern Science of Mental Health by L. Ron Hubbard, the all-time bestselling book on the human mind. The word “Dianetics” is derived from the Greek dia, meaning “through,” and nous, “mindor soul” and is further defined as “what the mind (or soul) is doing to the body.” The book describes the single source for a person’s stress, anxiety and unwanted emotions and gives practical tools one can read and apply to remove them. The results of Dianetics are what drive those who have experienced it to share the book and its technology.

Volunteer Anthony Penketh was out on the streets in Austin and shared his own experience:

“I first bought the Dianetics book from a neighbor for two dollars many years ago. I started reading the book and I couldn’t put it down. I realized as I read the book that this is the answer - this is why you have negative thoughts and weird reactions. The book also explained what you can do about it, so you don’t have to have those things any more holding you back.”

“You have to read it, and when you do, it makes so much sense and it answers so many questions. It is so practical. Other people need to read this book - and that’s why I volunteer to help introduce it to them.”

With many in Central Texas seeking to make a fresh start while the year is still young, Dianetics offers a proven path to take control of your own mental health and find relief from stress and anxiety. The path starts with reading the book that so many have turned to for a clear understanding of the mind.

Every weekend, the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation in Austin offers Dianetics Seminars, where people looking to improve theirmental well-being can start on their journey to do so.
